Arrival Story:
Lucky Blossom was born in a show dog's litter. Unfortunately, as she was being born there were some complications and those owners tried to pull her out of the birth canal by her right paw - in turn they broke her right elbow joint in the process. Because she would never walk correctly and the surgury would cost so much - that family decided to euthanize her. When they took her to their vet - the vet tech at the hospital decided that she give her a temporary home and would help out this sweet little dog. She took Lucky Blossom to the Animal Medical Center in NYC to convince the staff there to help out this beautiful puppy. The doctors at the Animal Medical Center worked on Lucky's leg free of charge and fused the bones in her right leg together. Another vet tech at the Animal Medical Center took her in for her recovery and to help her find a home. A friend of mine found out about Lucky Blossom and wanted to adopt her for her grandmother - she took the pup home for a day to see what her personality was like and to see if she would be good for her grandmother. I met Lucky Blossom on that day and fell in love with her. My friend realized that Lucky's leg problem would be difficult for her active grandmother to deal with and I got to bring her home.

Bio:
Lucky Blossom loves the vet, the groomer, and everyone in her life. She sometimes has a bit of ADD and will bark at us like we are a stranger if we leave a room and return after 10 minutes....we still love her. Lucky has her own blog - http://luckyblossom.blogspot.com/
