We wanted a Yellow Lab and ended up driving 100 miles to find the puppies were mixes. We bought him anyway because he was so cute!

Bio:
Ruger is our calmest dog and nothing really bothers him. He loves to jump in the river and retrieve sticks. He loves to swim. He loves to sit on anyones feet and get petted. He would make an excellent theraoy dog if his owners had time.

We are so very lucky to have the most wonderful pup pals here on dogster. Without them, my mom would not had the support of those who know what it' s like to lose a beloved member of the family. When she needed support, you were all there to help her through the difficult transition. Thank you so much wonderful dogs and their families. How can we be so lucky to have pals like you!!!!

Ruger was a loyal, loving, funny guy. He had been very sick for a long time. Today was time for him to go to The Bridge. No more suffering, no more surgeries. We love you Rugie and cant wait to see you again.
