Arrival Story:
Oscar's mom found him on a Petfinder website. The rescue is based in St. Louis. Since then, Oscar's mom had become Secretary of the rescue and served as a foster mom for other dogs. After being burned very badly last year, she gave up fostering.
Bio:
Oscar would have been 11 years old on June 11, 2008. He had cataracts on both eyes, but he still got around quite well. He once was someone's pet. That person sold him to a backyard puppy miller where he lived in filth for five years before he was released to the rescue. Who could do that? Anyway, it didn't take him long to remember how to be a pet again.UPDATE! Oscar was rushed to the dogtor Monday morning, April 14, 2008. He went to Rainbow Bridge to wait for us on April 16, 2008. Rest in peace, my newest little angel, until we are all together again. Mommy loves you so much!

Dear Friends:
I arrived at Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. I am well again and having a wonderful time playing like I did when I was a puppy. I miss you all, but I know we will be together again someday. I am waiting at the Bridge for you. Peewee is here with me. We are so happy to be together again.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
Precious has graciously consented to be my Valentine!! I am so thrilled!!!!! I have had girlfriends before when I lived in a puppy mill, but I've never never had a Valentine before. And she is such a beauty! I am so lucky!! Eat your hearts out, guys! SHE IS TAKEN!!!!

Hi Dogster Pals!! My friend Dash tagged me! This is a fun game to get better acquainted with your Dogster pals. Here’s how we play: Each player starts with seven random facts about himself or herself. Pups who are Tagged need to post the rules and their 7 random facts in their Dairies. Then they need to choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Next, let them know by pmail or a rosette that they have been Tagged and to read your Diary for instructions on how to play.
My new twist is that you add your own name and number at the end of the list of recipients. That way you can learn more about them too since they will send you a copy of their facts and their list of pup pals. Good idea? I think so.
Okay, here are my 7 random facts:
1. I was a pet to someone who sold me to a backyard breeder. I endured five years of that before I was rescued! Who could do that?
2. My Mom adopted me on June 11, 2005, and I've been by her side ever since. Michelle at Trixie's Angels rescued me from the backyard breeder. Mommie says she is a saint! I think so too!!
3. I am almost blind from cataracts, but I get around pretty well anyway.
4. I have five brothers. We all get along great!
5. I have my special spot on the pillow next to Mom at night!
6. I was so dirty and stinky when I was rescued that it took eight baths to take away the smell! I always smell good now, thanks to mommie.
7. Because of me, my mommie became a volunteer at the rescue organization where I came from. Now she is the Secretary and she is also a foster mom. I always try to help her with the fosters. Mommie says I am a very good host.
