New Year's Eve

Today I got to go ice skating! I have a brand new, pretty, comfortable harness so I can pull my people. At first I didn't know what to do, but then my people went ahead of me so I HAD to move in order to keep up with them. It was fun, until I got tired and noticed that ice is sort of scary... It was shiny and I heard big cracks and Girl had to take me back to the land. After that we all went to a place where I could run around with my beloved ball. I just LOVE zooming about with something in my mouth!

Now some people have started with fireworks. I get nervous around fireworks. Luckily I can occupy myself with licking Girl's foot...

October 18th

Is there anything more fun than retrieving??? Today Girl took me out to the woods for a running/playing time, and brought a joyous dummy! I would have done it gladly for nothing at all, but I even got pieces of liver!! Maybe I ought to start demanding liver for everything...

I have spent the last hour lying on Girl's backpack. Its a smart new trick I have learned. If I'm on it, she can't take it and go off to school! Now I feel rejuvinated after my rest, and I think I'm going to see if I can initiate a play session...
