Who's Up For Some Tugs?

Mean Kitties

Oh my goodness. On Friday, you wanna know what? My mom went to the toy store and bought me a new MEAN KITTY! I've been carrying it around and making my dad throw it and most of all, playing TUGS! Soon, I think I'll have all of the stuffing out. I don't know why my mom gets so annoyed when the Mean Kitty stuffing gets all over the house. You'd think she'd be happy that I accomplished my goal!

There are A LOT of kitties who live outside of our house. Two of them are REALLY ANNOYING. One is named Tinkerbell, and she's a black cat. The day we moved into our new house, I went to say hi to Tinkerbell and tell her that even though I'm a dog, I would like to be friends. She SMACKED ME IN THE FACE! So, I pretty much stay away from Tinkerbell. She's a real live Mean Kitty.

The other one is named Talko. My dad named her Talko because she TALKS! All the time! Sometimes? When my mom comes home? Talko runs into our house and tries to live here! And I say NO WAY MOM! Talko isn't really a Mean Kitty, but she sure does like to chase me. I just try to leave her alone, because my mom says she's "not right in the head." Whatever that means.

Anyway, today I went for a walk with my mom and my dad. When we came home, Tinkerbell was sitting near our door. I went up to say hi, and she SMACKED ME IN THE FACE! Again! My mom was really upset and my dad picked me up. I was okay, but pretty mad.

So I came home and I took out all my frustrations on my Mean Kitty! Now I'm so tired I can hardly stand it.

Here's the thing with kisses:

Sometimes I want to give you kisses, and sometimes I DON'T! So Mom, Dad, and all my aunties and uncles, if I don't give you a kiss, you don't have to ask again. I just don't want to give kisses!

But you are always welcome to scratch my butt.

My mom is washing all my beds today and I am VERY UPSET.

Oh, hello. My name is Molly Malone. I live with my mom in Atwater Village, which is a nifty neighborhood in Los Angeles. My dad lives in Pasadena, and I really like going to visit him. My favorite part of going to Pasadena is the CAR RIDE. He's here with us in Atwater most nights though.

Wanna know what's at the end of my street in Atwater? A horse ranch. Wanna know what? Sometimes my mom and dad take me for a walk down to the ranch to see the horse-doggies. I like it at first, but then I get really scared and want to go home. So my mom and dad take me home.

I was born on a farm in North Dakota, which is where my mom is from. My grandma and grandpa picked me up there and I got to live with them for a few weeks - before my mom even knew I existed! Then they flew me to New York City and gave me to my mom. She was graduating from NYU...whatever that means. She was so excited to meet me! My favorite part of being a puppy in New York City was hiding in my mom's kitchen cupboards. My least favorite part was the sound of the grates coming down on the buildings.

I lived with my mom in New York for about four years, until we moved here. We've lived a lot of different places in LA, but neither of us liked it until we moved to Atwater. My favorite thing about LA is that when we came here, we met my dad! He loves me so much, and he plays with me all the time.

Next time I write, I think I'd like to talk about playing tugs. I really like playing tugs.
