Arrival Story:
I was looking for a companion for Jesse I went to the Warwick Animal Shelter in Warwick NY and as soon as I saw Sonny I knew he had to come home with me. I adopted him at 6 years old 3 years ago. He is a young 9 year old. UPDATE 11/19/05- Sonny passed his Therapy Dog Test!! he is now a Certified Therapy Dog and will start visiting the local hospital and nursing home..

Bio:
2/19/08 Sonny lost his battle with bone cancer.. He went with the ones he loves with him, and is no longer in any more pain.. His passing has left a huge hole in my heart and he will be forever missed.. Sonny was the BEST dog I ever had, even though it was for a short 7 years... 01/31/08 Sonny has just been diagnosed with ostiosarcoma in his front leg , lungs and near his heart.. vet is giving him 1-5 months due to the severity of the cancer.. it started out as a limp 2 weeks ago, and the cough started one week ago.. xrays confirmed the cancer..
