Thoughts From Miss Meadow

PLEASE HELP CHA CHA IS MISSING

If you live in the Colorado Springs , CO area. Please be on the look out for CHA CHA ( Baby Girl # 7 from the Romeo Meadow litter ) ! She got out FOUR weeks ago and her Mom just informed me yesterday. She is a mostly red Ibizan Hound. Please email me with any information.

WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?!

This Morning ( actually the middle of the night ) at 6 am! My Mom comes in and has my lead in her hand. She opens my crib door and says come on Miss Meadow, time to get up. WHAT??? NO it's NOT! I yawn.... I open one eye and look at her wondering if she has gone nuts! She leaves the room and comes back with a treat.... Trying to coax me out of my nice warm crib... NOPE, not working. She gets on her knees and puts my lead on and MAKES me come out! By now I'm thinking the house MUST be on fire!
She puts me in the car where Piper and Gracie are already waiting. We drive.... We arrive at a place with a fence and strange grass. TALL grass, not the mowed grass in my backyard.
My Mom KNOWS I'm tiny and can't walk in TALL, strange grass. She claps her hands and says in an annoying voice... Come on Mommy Meadow it will be fun! You can run and play with the babies... Fun for who, I ask! I stand at the gate.... Trying to let her know I DO NOT have fun this early in the morning and in TALL grass! She finally convinces me to hop on three tiny legs to follow her.
She starts in about how Ibizans were bred to hunt in all terrain and tall brush in all weather in Spain...
Well, I WAS NOT bred in Spain.... I couldn't care less about hunting.... I am not like other Ibizans.... Is she blind??... I AM A TINY Ibizan... I was born to be a lap dog!
Then she brings out my TINY toys and starts throwing them in the TALL grass. Now I know she is nuts! My nice tiny toys are now DIRTY! I will not put them in my mouth! I hope she plans on washing them OR buying me new ones!
I finally find a tiny strip of concrete to walk on so I can stop hoping around in the TALL grass like I have a broken leg! I spend the rest of my time walking on the concrete!
Mom comes to her senses and says... OK kids lets go home. Mommy Meadow is not having a fun time...
We come home and get the Whippets and go for a nice walk on concrete. That was more like it! I love to go for walks. I go for a walk everyday. I do not like uncivilized activities!
My tiny toys are in the dryer. I need a nap! All that hoping around on three legs in the tall grass wore this tiny Beez out!
Let the Whippets and my Beez babies run around like crazy at an uncivilized hour. I will be in my crib when they get home!

My 4th Birthday

Today is my Birthday! I am 4 years old today. I just wanted to tell everyone what a wonderful Birthday I had!

I got turkey and gravy for breakfast (delightful).

I went on three walks (long ones)!!

I went to the dog park and a special surprise I got indeed!!! My little boy Beni was there!! A very handsome and well mannered young man I must say. I don't know who was happier to see him... me....or my Mom!!

I got lots of tiny new toys and ohhh so many new treats!!

Today was ALL about me!!

I had a wonderful Birthday!! But, now I must sleep. A Birthday Beez needs her rest.
