The Days of a Wizard Dog

Time is flying again!

Wow, it's been a couple of years since I let you all know what was going on with me. I'll be six years old tomorrow, and Belle just turned six and the pups turned two just before Christmas.

Mom's cousin stayed with us for over a year, until the apartments upstairs were finished and the codes guy said she and Sissy could move upstairs to theirs. Now there's room to walk around the sniff the place properly, and we don't have to stay over at Auntie's all day and all evening, we can go over with Mom to our own house. It's all four of us, me, Belle, Evie, and Wicket, since Sissy went away to college and left Evie and Wicket with Mom. I don't think Mom's real unhappy about this; she loves us and we make her happy. We all manage to squeeze onto the twin bed with Mom. We just wish she didn't have to get up while it's dark all but two days of the week. She says she wants to be something called 'retired', but I think she gets tired enough.

I can't believe it! I'm DotD! Thanks very much to all my friends who sent gifts and congrats! I love you all very much!!

Running to catch up!

It's been a long time since I told you all about my life and there are so many changes lately!
First of all, Mom brought home this tiny dog who needed a home, so we took her in. Her name is Belle, she's a Chinese Crested, and Mom says now she has her Beauty and her handsome Beast. I think she means I'm that last, but as long as she remembered the 'handsome' part, I guess it's okay!

Next, we moved down to the Other Home! We don't go to the old home anymore after the weekend is over. Mom still makes sure I get to go on rides, though, cause she knows how I like to look at the cows on the sides of the road. I still get to sleep on Mom's bed with her, so it's all good.

Rex didn't move with us. Mom and Sissy took Rex for a ride and didn't come back with him, so I don't know where he went, but I'm sort of glad he's gone, cause he was attacking me every chance he got.

Last, it turned out that Belle brought a big surprise, just before Christmas! She had puppies, which no one was expecting, not even the ladies Mom got her from! They thought they'd separated her from the boy dog they had in time, then got him neutered. Guess not, huh? She had three puppies, a hairless girl, and two powderpuff boys. Their names are Annie, Terror, and Wicket. Wicket is going to stay with Sissy, and we like to play together, even if he is half the size of my head! :)

I'm going to be four years old next week and Mom got me a new collar for my birthday. She says there will be more presents, but she got that one early. It's red rolled leather and she says I look really sharp in it!

Well, I think we're mostly caught up now. I'll try to be better at keeping up with my life!
