Leave a bone for Maggie

Nicknames: Margaret (her registered name), Maggie Pants, Madge, Crazy Face, Fuzzy Face, Good Girl, Bad Girl

Quick Bio:
Likes: Laying across your stomach and chewing on her bone

Pet-Peeves: Vacuum cleaner! Ironing board! Broom! Mop! Unusual sounds outside!

Favorite Toy: Henry, her feline brother born at the same time and who she's known since she was a baby

Favorite Food: Smoked almonds. She'll do anything to get one.

Favorite Walk: Any place containing gross trash to defiantly eat or monkey grass to bounce through

Best Tricks: Jumping straight up very high, looking extremely pitiful and sweet after, oh, eating the side off the coffee table

Arrival Story: I had been looking for this specific type of dog for some time. My mom had a Wirehair, and she always talked about how spunky they were. After looking for about 9 months, I finally found Maggie.
Her feline brother, Henry, was discovered during Maggies first vet visit when she was a puppy. All the other kittens in the "for adoption" box hissed, but Henry walked up to her, messed with her little Wirehair beard, and then scratched Maggie's nose as he turned around and walked away nonchalantly.
They've been best friends since.

Bio: If you are wondering about Wirehair Fox Terriers, this breed of dog was most popular in the 1930's and 40's, in large part because of Asta, Nick and Nora Charles' dog from The Thin Man movies, a series of six screwball detective comedies made between 1934 and 1947 and based on the books by Dashiell Hammett (The Maltese Falcon is his better known work).
The movies are great fun and if you have a Wirehair, you'll see that Asta is true to breed.
