Birthday: December 13th 2004 Likes: As he was a stray and a rescue, I assume that "running away" was what he liked most Pet-Peeves: Being grabbed by the collar Favorite Toy: Right now it is "Sophie" a Lab X that is boarding here Favorite Food: Likes most food, but it took months before he would eat any biscuits! Best Tricks: NOT coming when called! Has gotten better but needs more work Arrival Story: Winnipeg Animal Services (the Pound) called as they were full and couldn't keep him. He would likely have been euthanized due to space. I had no intention of taking him as I was quite full, but when I saw him I agreed to try and find him a forever home. Whoevever owned him must have taken good care of him as he was already neutered. Bio: While there are no papers, Wasa appears to be purebred. Since his arrival just before Christmas 2006, I have been socializing him and ensuring he has a good temperment. He plays somewhat rough, but isn't mean or aggressive. Because he doesn't yet know when to "back off" I have only let him out with females (my males wouldn't appreciate his "in your face" style of play) All told, he is a nice dog that just needs someone who knows the breed and can keep him busy. His "birthdate" is a guess and corresponds to the day and month I rescued him from the pound . I estimate him to be between 1 and 2 years of age
