Favorite Food: ANY!!! Favorite Walk: ANYWHERE!! Best Tricks: he is a great talker and runner Arrival Story: We already had Sid but my husband's sister just had a litter of puppies. Her male Siberian Husky and her female white lab had just had puppies. since we knew her and they were not full blood huskys we got to have pick of the litter. We went to pick him out and from the first time we saw him we knew he was the one for us. He was so sweet and had the most beautiful markings. At the time i had no idea what i was getting into...as most husky owners find out... Bio: As a puppy he was a pretty good boy. Very friendly and excited about everything. He did have a few problems as a pup though. He hated car rides. He would just cry the whole time...probably out of boredom. He was a lot more difficult to house train that Sid was. but we have that under control now as long as we let him out when he has to go. Otherwise he will just go inside.
As a puppy i could never keep him out of the water!! when i would go swimming in a lake i would eventually have to tie him to a tree because he would stay in the water with me untill i got out.
He is HORRIBLE on leash and in car rides. being a typical husky he just wants to run run RUN. their is no walking with him..only pulling and weaving and running. In the car he is constantly trying to get into the front set. too much excitment i guess.
At home though..he is a good boy. he likes to sleep on the couch with my other dog Sid...but i don't like that because he sheds A LOT...all the time. An hour left alone and when i get back you can tell who took a nice nap on the couch!!
He talks...A LOT. and he can get pretty loud!! We will have conversations and it usually last a long time!!
he loves people, but has the tendency to scare people. he does a low growl/talk around new people that sounds like a growl. in public he visciously growls at strangers who try to get near him.
When he was about 2 years old he was diagnosed with epilepsy. he used to have at least 2-6 seizures a day until we got them under control with medication. he hasn't had a seizures in 3-4 years!! we think all of the seizures he has had has stunted his growth and may have caused some brain damage.
he is alllll legs and is VERY clumsy. he is just a goofy boy and we love him!! The Groups I'm In: ☆ Huskies Beh@ving B@dly ☆, Huskys Glore!, Siberian Husky Lovers The Last Forum I Posted In: Nose problems.. I've Been On Dogster Since:
