Good News ~ Bad News …
I have 2 new ½ sisters!!!
My Human Mom has stayed in touch with my breeder since before I was born. As far as Mom & I are concerned she is the best in the world!!!
My “PawMom” was expecting her 4th litter and there were 9 puppies on the ultra sound … Wow, 9 new ½ brothers & sisters. Unfortunately, my Mom went into “distress” & had to have a C-Section. Only 2 of my pawsiblings survived. I have 2 new little sisters and they are beautiful!!! While I am so glad my Mom is OK ~ I am so sad. Miss Vicki, my breeder is so sad. She raises all her 6 “Doodles” in a very large house & hand raises all the puppies. The balance of her breeding Doodles are in foster homes. Miss Vicki is a breeder who does not want any of her dogs “kenneled” & all her dogs in loving homes!!!
I loved my 1st 8 weeks of life. It was so warm & I felt so safe and loved from the moment I was born.
Everything was so normal ~ even the breeding. (I hate to inform all you Doodles ~ Some of our Moms never knew our Dads. While my Mom & Dad had a beautiful honeymoon, some of our Dad’s were just part of a sperm bank. Hehehehehe.) All nine of these puppies had wonderful screened adoption families waiting for their arrival & eventually coming home with them. Now they are as heart broken as Miss Vicki & Mom & I am!!!
PawMom Meggie has had 4 litters, never more then 1 a year & all were 8 – 10 healthy babies. Including Me !!!!!! There were no signs of any trouble until her labor began …
I just had to post their pics on my page, but unfortunately, Miss Vicki can’t give these two little girls their names until she decides which of these 9 families will be the two to get my sisters. So I am going to name them …. Spunky & Precious!!! They are just beautiful & have that amazing “Doodle” coat!!! I love my new sisters!

I am in really big trouble …
Mom is so angry; I swear her eyes are crossed!!!!!!
After a long day at work, she came home & our “Nanny Rick” had left her a note, Primo has reverted back to "puppy" & messed on the floor between every visit. He even suggested, maybe it was me & not Primo. How dare he!!!!!! I never have accidents in the house & Mom knows that … Mom felt bad, he put Primo back in the crate. Imagine how I feel having no one to play with all day. I don't like "Nanny Rick" any more!!!
Well, Mom was mumbling something about being so hungry because she missed lunch. She had stopped at her favorite place to get some “comfort food.” All food is comfort food, what is that all about? This is her favorite place for “Good Ole Southern Comfort Food.” She says it makes her feel like she is in Savannah or Charleston, sitting on a porch swing, enjoying life … Even “Oprah” has given this place a “thumbs up.”
Who is this Oprah person anyway?
I’ve had a taste of those corn bread muffins before, Mom left them to close to the edge of the counter ~ So I know why Mom loves this place! She did her normal routine, comes to say “Hi” & tells us how much she missed us … Takes us out for a walk & “Business,” then gives us our dinner. Mom is so great like that ~ No matter how tired she is … The first 30 minutes after she comes home, belong to me & Primo.
She put that dinner of hers’, at the back of the counter … But the smell was so incredible … She went upstairs to change & well, I just had to go for it. Mom swears I had to have stood on top of Primo’s shoulders to reach it. Through the plastic bag, through the paper bag & into the container. I got the “Mac’N’Cheese” & corn bread and Primo got the pork chops, bones & all … Mmmmmmmm ~ Good!!! You know, Primo really has it made … I do all the dirty work & he reaps the reward! By the time Mom realized we weren’t upstairs with her ~ Her entire dinner had been consumed.
Now I know why they call it “Comfort Food.”
Well now she is eating a bowl of cereal & just glaring at us … She said we are grounded for life!!!! No more “play dates,” no more “dog park,” no more toys …
Yea ~ Right!!!!
Boy is she mad …

Wow ~ What a month!!!!
I don’t even know where to start …
Well, the beginning of the month, Mom was away for a 1 ½ week business trip…
I got to go back to “Boot Camp,” only now I was part of the pack to teach all the “newbe’s” the ropes. That included “Primo!” It was his first time away from home and was really scared. But I took care of him. At times he was a pest & our camp director said “Primo was joined to my hip much more then I was to his.” We both had fun & it was so much fun to see all my old buddies from the pack & to be part of them & not a student.
The day Mom got back we were all excited … She loaded us up & we went to this place with all sorts of trees that weren’t in the ground ~ How weird!! Well, Mom stuck one in the car & brought it home … I found all of this very strange. Primo, as always, had no clue what was going on. Mom made it stand up again & it sat right outside our back door for a week. I thought that was even stranger. We have plenty of trees outside & I didn’t understand why we needed one more.
Then the strangest thing of all ~ A week later, Mom moved all our furniture around (Primo & I couldn’t figure out where anything was!!!) and brought that tree inside!!!! She put lights all over it & there it sat for another week!!! Finally, she got all these boxes out of the attic & transformed that tree into the most beautiful curious thing I have ever seen. She put “stuff” all over the fireplace, the stairwells, the window sills ~ anyplace she could stick “stuff” she stuck it!!!!
Wow ~ I thought this is really going to be fun. She made a special playground complete with lights & bells for me & Primo!!!! WRONG!!!! Every time I would get near anything, I got that “Out!!!”
Then all these people started coming to our house to see me!!! Mom says they weren’t coming just to see me but they sure fussed over me (and Primo too); so I know they came here to see us & eat!!! I never saw humans consume so much food!!! This must be a Holiday to celebrate “Food” because that’s all everyone seems to be doing …
Well, I would like to tell you about our trip to the farm Christmas Day to visit Mom’s parents and all the “Family.” But I promised Primo he could write something in his Diary, and have some of our Christmas pictures for his page. So I will let him write about that … Mom says a “Promise is a Promise.”
