Mom and I are driving about town yesterday and all the sudden mom is driving like a wild women and slams on the breaks. I give her a look of pure disgust so she knows just what I think of her driving...as it turns out she is not even paying attention she is out the door and running in traffic...OMD it has happened she has lost her damn mind...how am I getting home?? how do you work this cell phone...I need to call dad. Oh thank dog she is back!! WHAT?! she has some mangy looking tragic little beast in her arms?! What in the heck is going on?! Well mom tells me he is a Yorkie and clearly lost...whatever get him out of here...hey what are you doing? Do not touch that...or that!! All this stuff is mine and you may just get out. My rude mother tells me to behave. Excuse me?! huhhh so I start sniffing mr smelly pants...who stinks. Then I notice he is shaking so I feel a bit bad for him. I try to offer some comfort and give him a snuggle...happy mom?! Mom is telling Mr. no name not to worry we will find his mommy. Doubtful...I have already noticed he has no collar. Good dog I hope mom does not think to bring him home!!
Well mom stops the car and snaps on my lead and carries stinky in..I hope she washes after this. We walk in what I can only assume is a vet clinic judging by the smell. Mom is talking to the lady at the front desk...explaining how we nearly killed ourselves to save the unknown...Strange lady goes to get some cool scanner thing and scans Mr no name. No chip whatever that is...well just then the doctor man walks out and chats a bit and says we have a note about a missing Yorkie. The lady makes a call,the people are coming to see if it is him and smelly pants is staying till then. I look at mom...please tell me we do not have to hang out. No mom is leaving her name and number to call her if it not there dog. I turn to wave see you later!! I am out of here with out so much as a shot..thank the dog Gods!!
We get home...I report to Lucas and Riley the ordeal I was put through for some reason they thought I was being dramatic but whatever. Moms cell rings and it is the doctor...It was the lost pup who has been missing since Thursday. Mom was so happy he got home to his family and I was so happy he was not staying here with mine!
