Arrival Story:
She was a pound rescue, she had only been ther an hour (thank God). She was so grateful, that she is very willing to please, so it was very easy to train her for service work-Cassie is my second service dog. She wakes me at night when I have an asthma attack (I have been on life support in the past, and now I don't wake up when a attack happens). She also knows if I am going to have a seizure before I do and will refuse to get in the car, or let me get out of a chair...even if she has to sit on me to get me to stop. She is truly one of a kind dog !!!
Bio:
Cassie had been abused in the past, and sometimes will get nervous. As a Cattle breed she is prone to pacing and moving all the time anyway, so a Cattle breed is well suited for service work.
