However the vet said I am getting pudgy and need to change treats to carrots, broccoli. Hmph! He thinks I'm a rabbit. Favorite Walk: Anyplace his Momma is Best Tricks: Sit, stay, sit up, down, dancing on his back legs, and roll over. Arrival Story: We had lost one of our Poms of 14 years. I JUST HAPPENED to be in the classified ads and JUST HAPPENED to be in the doggie section, and see a picture of the most adorable 12 week old fuzz butt. I went and got him from his birth parents, brought him home, and my husband got tears in his eyes and said, honey I can't do that. I had to take him back, crying all the way. Two days later I told my very angelic husband it just about killed me to take that puppy back and he said if he really meant that much to me I could go and get him. I knew he was mine the moment I laid eyes on him. It was love at first sight! Bio: His name should have been "Kirby" or "Hoover". He eats anything he can get his mouth on. He is very good about dropping it....IF I see him with foreign objects, but of course much of the time I don't see him. I keep rubber gloves always at the ready to inspect our passing glories, (poops) looking for the latest tid bit. It"s like, oh yeah, there is the plastic off of the squeaky, or the fuzz off the ternnis ball. You never know how or what things are going to come out. Our heaven passed 14 year old and our existing 15 year old were kinda like that too ( I guess all pups are) but he is the worst I've seen. Needless to say we have some pretty outlandish emergency vet bills, with x-rays looking for the latest "treat". We keep a running supply of "Laxatone". He is now a year old and hopefully he will grow out of this.
