I truly believe it was love at first sight! I saw my Mom and Dad and knew they were the pawrents for me. I ran after them to tell them this news and since we all know Chloe rules the world, they agreed! I've been melting their hearts with my "arooooooooo" ever since!:)

Bio:
I'm Chloe and everybody loves me! I am a black, white, and brown basset hound and my nose can drive me crazy! I love to play and I'm told that I know no enemies (whatever that means). If you rub my belly, I'll be your friend for life! I have a bubby; his name is Cody and he is a great bubby! I also have a sister (Maddy the cat), but she can kinda be mean to me. Even though she acts like she doesn't like me, I know that way down deep inside, she loves me. I mean who wouldn't love the WORLD FAMOUS CHLOE? **We just moved to a new home! I used to live in a place called Indiana, but Mom and Dad packed us up and moved us to a place that has funny grass and 100 degree days. They call it North Carolina. I'm adjusting, but like I said, the grass is weird...it's so hard to go potty on it! Anyhow, that sums me up pretty well. I hope you want to be friends with me...I LOOOOOOOOOOVE everybody! Arooooooooooo!

In Chloe's Words

Mom and Dad finally got my computer hooked up and now Chloe is back to the world of Dogster!

Dogs, let me tell ya, I've had a rough month!

One day, my life was normal. I started pooping outside and I was a rising star of our apartment. Then one day, mom was on the phone for about an hour. It must have been a serious phone call because we had to be really quiet. Next thing I knew, I was with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend. When Mom and Dog got back, they were moving all of my stuff in this truck and went to bed before it got dark. The very next day, Cody was riding in the truck with Dad and I was riding in the car with Mom...for A VERY LONG TIME! They say it took 15 hours because of us, whatever 15 hours means. After that time was up, we found ourselves in a brand new place with weird grass that was hard to potty on. Mom said she couldn't hook the internet up and they took almost a full day to find and unpack all of my toys! How rude!

Anyhow, I guess Mom got a new job and decided we should move down here. She started right away and I haven't been getting my beauty sleep as I should. Things have just now started calming down which is good, however, I miss my pug cousin and the basset hound friend I had that lived at our old house. In fact, I haven't really met any new doggy friends...luckily I have my Bubby!

Well, gotta go...mom says I'm monopoly-ing the computer (I think that's what she said).

I'll write again soon!
Arooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm grumpy. Mom and Dad left me and my bubby at home tonight while they went to visit my grandpawrents. We ALWAYS go...how rude! On top of that, when they finally did get home, it was raining cats and dogs! I did NOT like that one bit. It is really messing up my bathroom routine. I don't like to go when it's raining, Mom and Dad complain when we are outside, and I just don't get everything done. They say I'm already having a difficult time getting completely housebroken, but what's a basset supposed to do in conditions like this? Seriously, it's a hard life I lead!

Mutt Strut

Mom and Dad took Bubby and I on a 2.5 mile walk around the Indianapolis Speedway for the Mutt Strut. I must say, I am PAWSITIVELY POOPED! It should be illegal to walk a basset that far! Our regular "long walk" is just a mile long and I'm tired then...so I don't know what they were thinking with this one! I had fun though, so it's okay. I made it through and didn't need any of the golf carts to pick me up like some of the other doggies did. Hooray for me!

I must say, although I was excited to go, I became very overwhelmed very fast. Usually, I'm jumping all over everybody, but there were SO many doggies, many of whom were SO much bigger than me and SO many people that I got a bit scared. Mom says she's never seen my put my tail between my legs before, but I did get over it and went right back to being Chloe once I realized I was safe and sound and my mommy would be by my side the whole time. It also helped once we got past the very long check-in line. If we still live here next year, we'll probably do it again, I'll just have start training:)
