Welcome to my diary!

Fall 2007

Happy fall everyone! I sure miss long walks, trips to the park, and whole days swimming and grandma's, but fall is fun too. I like to sniff the leaves and smell the fireplaces burning.
I'm getting more used to my little sister, although she has WAY too much energy for me. Sometimes I just want to lounge around, and she is always on top of me....putting her paw on my head, licking inside my ears (I really like that...though I will NEVER return the favor), trying to get me to play. Sometimes I give in, but it's getting less and less in my old age. I dont even follow mom's every movement now...I know she will be back, and I think she is tired of tripping over me the past 6 years or so.
Soon the snow will be here....I love to play in the snow...and eat it, and bury my nose in it. It's fun to have season changes...

More of that cold white stuff

I thought it was starting to get nice out, but today there was more of that cold, white stuff. I don't like being outside without mom or dad, and that stuff is cold. Mom and dad don't like it when we drag it throughout the house either. It sure is fun to pee on though :) I can't wait for it to warm up so I can play outside more.

First entry

So....where do I begin? I love my mom and dad to death, and love to follow them around. I love to sit on the stairs and look out the window. I had mom and dad all to myself until they brought Cady home. Within 5 minutes of her being near me, I bit her, which is so unlike me. I guess I just felt a little threatened. Then, she had to go and break her leg and have mom and dad carry her all over. Luckily, that whole fiasco is through.
Cady had her first birthday one week before my 6th birthday, and she is starting to calm down a little. I remember being one year old, and full of energy. Mom never thought I would settle down, but I did :)
It's almost Spring and I am looking forward to more car trips to the park or beach, and especially to grandma and grandpa's house. I can't wait until the pool is open again. I just love to take a little dip every couple minutes, and drain all of the water out of the pool :) I am happy that my grandpa comes to visit me every weekend, and he leaves bagels for mom and dad (which sometimes end up becoming mine).
