Rescue from a high kill shelter in Alabama. We found her on QUOTE ON BORDER COLLIES: People often wonder just what trainers give the sheepdog in exchange for its boundless willingness. Food treats and praise sit on the trainer's shelf, untouched, unused. The sheepdog is shown its possibilities, he learns what life is like for a good dog and is invited to walk in a rational world whose farthest boundaries are defined by grace. ---- Donald McCaig, Nop's Hope

Herding instincts are very strong. Very playful and loves attention. Still a puppy. Copies everything Ashley does and is always trying to cuddle with/lick Ashley. Chases and herds the cats. High energy level.

The latest wooden object I have eaten is a very expensive Longaberger basket.

My wallet did not. Nor did Troy's sandals. I hope he will not be too upset.

Hurricane Lady by Mom

Daddy is on a business trip and Lady has separation anxiety. Also, I was gone too long yesterday and left her alone. She tore up two boxes of nasal spray and there were packets all over the house. I mean everywhere. She ate a cordless phone antenna. She ate a small gift box containing a leprechaun from Ireland my sister gave me. She shredded the newspaper. She completely chewed off one of the edges of the futon. She broke/ate 5 plastic hangers. She honed her carving skills on the same dining room chair she previously gnawed. She took a few bites out of the windowsill.

I learned last night that she HATES bitter apple. I sprayed it on some things she chewed and put them near her face. She backed away. I sprayed it in the air and she went running.

Is there hope, or do I need to call on my Irish heritage for some luck?
