Arrival Story:
Hildy was the second puppy we raised for Guiding Eyes For The Blind. She has now left us, and is formally training as a guide dog. We love her and wish her much luck. ***UPDATE***As you can see if you read Hildy's updated page, our dreams for her were shattered but our love for her will always remain.

Bio:
Hildy was born at the Guiding Eyes For The Blind Breeding Center on November 16. 2005. Her Dad is Quint, and her Mom is Gina, both black labs. Out of a litter of six, she was the only yellow pup. The rest were black like their Mom and Dad. She was raised by us from 2/06- 3/07. She is a wonderful girl. ****UPDATE**** We got the devastating news that Hildy crossed to the Rainbow Bridge very unexpectedly on 4/21/07 at only seventeen months old of Acute Lympho Cytic Leukemia. It was fast, and she didn't suffer. We are the ones suffering now over the tragic loss of our beautiful blonde girl. She made us proud, and is our true shining star. We will love you forever Hildy.

My birthday is Nov 16th. Isn't it fitting that Magnolia will be arriving on my birthday? Mom will be burying her head in Magnolias fur to dry her tears because she will miss me so much on my birthday. I would be three years old. Mom is so sad I was taken so soon. Thank you Dogster for keeping my memory alive.

My wish has come true

My sister Island will graduate as a guide dog on Saturday Nov 8th. I have been her guide dog guardian angel all during her training. She will graduate one week before my birthday. I am so happy for her! She was so little when I passed away, just four months old! She is so grown up. I am so proud of her!
