She'll run from her own shadow, but we love her to death!

May 3rd, 2010: Susie went to the Dr to see why her back leg had so much swelling. She's been having some trouble walking and hasnt been able to climb stairs for a while. She's lost two of her sisters this past year. but thru it all, Susie is still sweet Susie. When she went to the vet, they did a biopsy of what was going on in her back leg. The results came back as bone cancer. The only option for this was amputation. It all comes down to quality of life, not quantity. Her quality of life would be compeletely diminished by doing this. This was her good leg. So in an act of love, her dad said goodbye to her. She was the sweetest, most loving dog in the world. That sweet chocolate face will forever be loved and missed. As my husband put, the girls are back together, fully healed, healthy and happy at Rainbow Bridge. Just waiting for the day they get to see their mom, dad, and siblings again. We will always love you Susie!!!!!!!
