Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 31st 2005
 Likes: Herself and me.

Pet-Peeves: Baths, vaccum and dart/cap guns

Favorite Toy: Not big on toys, but she sort of likes rubber chew toys.

Favorite Food: Anything. But she likes cat food most. Not that she is allowed to eat it.

Favorite Walk: She generally prefers car rides to walks.

Best Tricks: She doesn't really know any tricks.

Arrival Story: After we lost Simone my family discovered it was impossible to live without a tri-color Sheltie. Not to mention Tars missed Sheltie company greatly. At the time, my brother was looking for a Cairn Terrier. As he was looking for one, he found a breeder that bred both Cairn Terriers and Shetland Sheepdogs. Cornerstone Shelties was located in Clinton, Maine. We got in contact with them, and they had two tri-color female Shelties. She sent pictures and descriptions of them, and I decided to go for one. Cornerstone is a show and pet quality breeder. We definitely will go back to them when we want another Sheltie (or Cairn).

Bio: Cheyenne is now almost three years old. She couldn't be happier or healthier. I like to joke that out of all my family's dogs, Cheyenne is the healthiest and happiest, and is our only flawless purebred. She would be an excellent show dog, but we spayed her (for the reasons we don't want to breed and spaying can reduce later health problems and extend life). Cheyenne takes both obedience and agility dog classes, and she excels at both. When she feels like it. Cheyenne is just as smart as Tars, but she gets in these moods where she just refuses to do anything. I'm sure she has her reasons and its very comical to watch people try to get her to do stuff. Even food won't help when she gets in that mode. She is a little more self centered then Tars that way, but we love her just the same. Our agility trainer described her as a little "Princess" who only did what she felt like. Which is very true.

Your Breeder?

Name: I chose the name Cheyenne after a truck. Specifically my grandpa's Quasar Blue 1994 Chevrolet Cheyenne K-2500 4x4 pickup truck. The truck is a purebred work truck through and through in that it was designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to work hard and never break down. In that sense it is flawless, just like Cheyenne is flawlessly Sheltie.
Personality: Cheyenne is not picky, and unlike Tars, loves everything. Literally. She has gotten the nickname 'Happy Dog' and 'Happy Grands' due to her always being happy. No matter what. She wakes up happy and loving life, goes to sleep happy and loving life. Which is a nice thing, as you can always count on her to bring a smile to your face.
Cheyenne's Breeder: Cheyenne came from Cornerstone Shetland Sheepdogs & Cairn Terriers (www.cornerstoneshelties.tripod.com). She was $900.00. I can not stress enough how good of a breeder they were and are. Out of three Sheltie breeders, none of them treated us as good and none of their dogs were as good in health, body and was definetly the most socialized. I would recommend Cornerstone.
