   Leave a bone for Tucker

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-purebred-dog rescue

January 1st 2005

Giving kisses, playing with his toys, and giving more kisses.

His previous owner kept him in the backyard ALONE 24/7. Because of this Tucker does not like to be left outside. He goes outside do to his business and then wants right back in.

Favorite Toy:
Myself, my son and any toy with a squeaker!!

Favorite Food:
He would probably eat anything but since he has a sensitive stomache, he eats Canidae chicken and rice. He loves it along with his Blue Ridge bones/treats.

Favorite Walk:
Tucker is new to us and has recently gone through heartworm treatment and has not been able to be active. Hopefully, we'll know the answer to this one real soon. UPDATE: Tucker loves walking in our neighborhood and he LOVES to go bye-bye!!

Best Tricks:
Tucker loves to play chase. It doesn't matter if you're chasing him or he's chasing you. He also likes to hide behind my couch when I am chasing him and then he suddenly dashes out, running wild throughout the house. It's very funny to watch!!

Arrival Story:
Tucker was taken away from his owner after the neighbors complained after seeing him tied to a tree with no food, water or shelter. I was searching for a boxer to adopt and found him on petfinder.com.

Tucker has decided that Macie has stolen enough of the limelight and has decided to have the light shone on him. He developed an aural hematoma on his left year two weeks ago and had surgery the following day. Five days later he decided the stitches should come out. So we went back to the vet and got all stitched up again. Fingers crossed, the stitches are still in. We hope to have them "properly" removed by the vet this weekend.
