Tricks? Mommy and Daddy should be happy that I can even sit! I don't like listening for training.

Arrival Story:
Daddy had a Boxer before me that got very sick because he came from a backyard breeder. The Boxer passed away at only a year and a half old. Daddy was devastated. So Mommy set out on a search on finding another puppy to help heal Daddy's broken heart. She looked into more boxers but Daddy said he couldn't handle another Boxer. They heard about a woman who breed dachshunds and corgis. One of her female corgis started heat late one night and one of her male dachshunds got to her before she did. And me and my litter mates were born! The woman wasn't going to sell us because we were "mutts". Mommy and Daddy came to the ladies house to look at her dachshunds, assuming they would be putting a depoist for a puppy from her next litter. But Daddy left to use the bathroom and heard someone whining in another room. He looked in there and found me and the two sisters that I had left! He instantly fell in love with my and my huge ears. He asked the lady about us and she told him that we were a mixed litter and that we would probably be going to the shelter in a few short weeks because no one had claimed us. He asked Mommy if she liked me and she said yes. So instead of placing a depoist on a puppy to come, Daddy and Mommy left with me that night, saving me from a future at a shelter and brought me to a great home with an awesome big brother!
