Walking In My Brother's Paw Prints

They grow up so fast!!

Mom said that I'm a big boy! I'm only 5 months old but I am the "size of a small cow". Mommy said it was because I am a good boy and eat all of my good food she gets me. She also says that I am going to be bigger then my brother Chief was.

She says I am smart as a whip, whatever that is. Though she wasn't very happy with me the other day. I chewed a hole in the wall. I know I wasn't suppose to but it was fun. But because of it, I get to have my Kong filled with peanut butter every night! So it can't be half bad.

Me and Pudgie are bestest friends now. I am definitely not scared of her anymore. Well until she starts playing with claws. I think she just likes tall fire dogs so she can rub on our legs.

Mom also had to move her safe from under her desk. It was getting crowded under there while I was trying to nap.

I also love taking a shower with Mommy or Daddy. If they don't leave the shower door open, I will scratch and make stuff fall on them. So usually I just stand in the shower with them. I have to make sure they don't drown! Well that and if I get wet, I get to be dried off with a towel. That is one of my most favorite things in the world!

Well, I am 4 months old today! Time flies when you are having a ton of fun! Mom said I am growing big but I still think I'm only 10 pounds and everything else is shrinking. Mom is going to have to move her safe from under the desk because it's getting too small to sleep under there.

I have made myself at home too. I love playing and snuggling with my family and getting lots of love. Mom is already talking about something called "neuter". I don't know what that is but she said I get to go see all of my friends at the vet. So it can't be half bad. Mom said I have to wait a couple more months so I can grow some more. Now that I have had all of my shots, I get to go out now. Well, other than just the fire department. I can go into Winston and go see Daddy's fire department and go out and do normal doggy things. I can't wait!

My first trip to the Fire Department

Well, I did it! I went to the Fire Department on Monday night while they were having training. Mom said that I needed training too but I don't want to actually fight fires! I won over all of the hearts that were there. The Chief even picked me up and loved on me. Mom said it was a big deal because he tries to act really macho or something. I didn't get scared either. Well not totally scared. When the big fire truck was backing up beside me beeping, it didn't bother me. The only thing that got me was when the air breaks went off. And that just startled me. I didn't hear a siren yet, but Mom said she wanted to take it slow. Yet yesterday Daddy stopped by the house while he was working in the ambulance. He turned on the siren (it's not as loud as the firetrucks) and it didn't bother me too much. Mom even made me some more biscuits. This time they are peanut butter. I like them just as much as the banana ones I finished off. Oh and me and Pudgie are friends now. We run through the house and play together.
