Mac Says: Happy St. Yappy's Day Everyone! We've been going outside more with the warmer weather and have decided that we all LOVE it. SO much more room to run, SO many things to smell and SO much snow to EAT! Other than outside, I love playing, playing and playing - with my siblings, my foster family, tug toys - I love to tug!, mini tennis balls, squeaky toys. And I have discovered something called "belly rubs" ..... oohhhh what a feeling!

Foster Mom Says: Oh yes, Mac LOVES his belly rubs now, he loves ear scrathes as well and we so enjoy obliging! Mac is becoming more of a lap dog now as he can actually quit playing long enough for some serious lovin' time. It is very bittersweet for us that our 'babies' are ready now to find and move on to their furever homes. But we are SO very happy that all has worked out well with them medically and that they will be able to lead pretty well normal puppy/dog lives! Mac is going to be medium to large dog who will need plenty of space and lots of exercise.

Mac Says: How come I'm the only who always has to mention the FOOD? Sure I love food - and even better now that the nice Dr. Vet let us start eating kibble. But just so you all know - my foster mom gave us all a bath the other day and SHE says that I'm not a Big Mac afterall ....... I'm just a little cheeseburger underneath a lot of fluff!! We had our fist experience of what they call "outside" this week - I sure did not like it at all, all this ccccold white stuff. Marley didn't like it either, but Pheobe just had to have herself a taste of the stuff! Show-off!!

Foster Mom Says: Ahh, my little "cheeseburger"! (but still the biggest of the bunch by far!) Mac has got the most soulful eyes ever in such a young pup - look into his eyes and you see an old and wisened soul in there. But his antics are very much all puppy! He has taken to letting out a little bark when he wants you to play. And of course, FULL of curiousity and exploring as much of the house as we will allow - and then pushing the limits!

Mac Says: My foster family and the veterinary staff all seem to like to call me "Big Mac", must be cuz I'm the biggest of the bunch - more of me to love! I am extremely mobile now at 4 weeks old. I love to explore, run and pounce! I have lots of toys to play with and my two siblings of course. I even get to play with Grace (one of the resident dogs who has taken on the mother role of us), I love to grab hold of her tail in my mouth and when she starts to walk away I get a fun ride! Oh yeah, and I love to EAT!

Foster Mom Says: Mac really IS the biggest of the bunch and already a package of personality! He is already scooching around on his tummy and quickly learning to get up on his legs to *walk*. At 3 weeks, he's THE biggest suckie of the bottle - he LOVES his bottle. We've started them on the canned puppy food and he has taken to that well, but still wants to be topped off with his bottle, especially at bedtime (amazing just how much like a human baby these puppies are with their wants and needs!!)
At 4 weeks, Mac really is very mobile - we love his *pouncing*! Do mama dogs play favorites? We think our Gracie might as she spends most of her time with Mac, I think it's because he is the most interactive with her - playing with her, rather than just being "cleaned up" by her.
