Starr's sad

Starr's big brother Paws passed last night. Everytime we took her outside, she would herd him to the door to make sure he made it okay. She was very lost and confused this morning because she couldn't find him. Her little sis Naya hasn't known Paws for long and doesn't seem to phased by it, but Starr grew up with Pawser and she is so sad. I hope my mother coming home will cheer her up some.

Her little butt took off with her sister twice last night. They like to run the neighborhood and play with all the poor lonely doggies kept outside on short leashes. Starr doesn't understand that the man down the street's pitbull is kind of mean... oh no, she wants to play anyway. My fiancee managed to catch her. Her sister thinks it's just a fun game and is a terrible pain to catch.

On a funny note, Starr actually took off from home for a whole month once! She ran off while my mother and I were gone, and my father didn't look for her. My momma found her a whole month later about 5 miles from where we live. She'd curled up in some nice lady's dog house, and was being fed cat food the whole time! Proof that everyone that meets her falls in love immediately... She was twice as big when we found her than she was when we left home! I almost didn't recognize her! I'm still so happy she's back. Collies are my favoritest doggies and I really missed all her hyperactive energy around the house...
