Arrival Story:
We found Harley at a local breeder in our area. He was the smallest in his litter, and as cute as could be. We had him home 2 days when he got really really sick and weak. Mom rushed him to the animal hospital, where Dr Emerson pronounced he was severely underweight and hypoglycemic. After 2 days in puppy intensive care (in an incubator), Harley pulled through! Dr Emerson didn't think Harley would make it, but after ridding him of the parasite (coccydia) plagueing his tiny body, and getting some fluids in him, he bounced back . He's 3 years old now, and is healthy as a horse - no more problems! Thank goodness, we can't imagine our life without him!
