CARROTS, whatever the humans are eating, celery, BISCUITS, & the lamb & rice kibble he gets.

anywhere with mom & dad & Abby

"high four"--sorry, 'five'--he still has his dewclaws, pretending to play flyball, & showing off his HUGE vocabulary
Arrival Story:
my sweetie & i were looking for an older female dog to keep our elderly black lab company. she went to the H.S. & found this sweet little guy. brought him to work to show me, said 'come meet your new son'
We were told he had gone to the H.S. from Animal control, & had been there for more than 3 months.
we werent looking for a male, or younger dog, but he was the only one at the pound who would look right at us, put his head down, & lift his paw. he never barked until he got home & met 'THE CAT!"
The story we got was that he enamored himself of the staff (with his winning smile &playful, loving personality) so that they didn't have the heart to send him off.
His mom & I consider that to be our great fortune, this furry, bundle of love.
Oh...& as for his sister--he follows her around, listens to her, & absoultely adores her.

OOOHH--update: Since we were adopted by Abigail Grace, Grizz has really taken to her--he & new sister rough & tumble, chew each others necks/ears, kiss each others faces, share toys (it's really funny seeing G.R. offer his bear to Abby) He's even taught her to eat her carrots!
