My husband and I found Sophie at the Anti-Cruelty in Chicago. I had been there 2 days before wanting to adopt another dog but couldn't because someone else adopted it first. When I came back 2 days later, I showed the cage that the other dog was in to my husband and Sophie was there all curled up in the corner. Sophie only knew Russian when I got her. I had to teach her English.
