Arrival Story:
April was found wandering the desert near a friend's house. Her owners were located 1/2 mile away, and after a week of her escaping their yard to return to our friend, the owners gave up and gave her to our friend, who gave her to us. She has been a constant companion for both me and my husband ever since.
Bio:
April is a true clown and, despite her small size, she rules the roost around here with the bigger dogs. Not one of our goldens will challenge her when she's telling them to get off the sofa or bed. The ONLY dog she adored completely was Vinnie. I think he was her true love as she defended him in a heartbeat if she thought one of the other dogs played too rough with him.
