Favorite Walk:
She use to love going to her great granma Mimas house because since she was old she would forget if she had fed her or not, so basically everytime she would pass by her bowl she would give her more food.

Arrival Story:
My Mom got her for me from a friend of hers that was giving away puppies. She was six weeks old and looked like a little butterball. My husband at the time did not want a dog but I told my Mom to bring her anyways, as soon as she came in the house she went up to him and started giving him kisses all over his face. Naturally he fell in love with her and she became my Missy.

Bio:
Missy lived to be 15 years old and was the best Dog I have ever had. As a puppy I have to admit she was horrible! she broke furniture, shoes, shredded carpets like if she was a cat, ate blinds and even made a whole in the wall once that was bigger than she was. She finally settled down once she turned two and brought me many years of happiness. In her last year she was almost completely blind and was also losing her hearing, But somehow she always heard me approaching the door and would be happily waiting for me. She was very smart, she loved being with me wherever I was. She was mischievious at times but most of the time she would just give that "I'm sorry " face and all was good again. I don't think she ever realized she was a doggie. I still hear her and feel her all over the house, she will always be my #1 Baby and I will ALWAYS LOVE HER!!!

SOFT BREEZES

Once upon a moment just last night was then.
The rush of the soft breeze blowing

Understanding didn't come in a whisper.....
Nor in a shout .. of despair....

How do we help them recognize--
That death tis a footstep towards the start of a journey... Only known to the spirits' who have passed that way before...

Shall we join with those spirits that are waiting...
Both human and canine.. to reunite with our
loved ones?

In the chasm of our souls...
Watching ..
Waiting...
Anticipating....
REUNION
written by Edith Niemeyer- 12-16-06

I truly believe that we shall pass beyond this veil to the next and our SOUL MATES shall be reunited with us.

Pam Brown wrote-- "If there is a heaven, it's certain our animals are to be there. Their lives become so interwoven with our own, it would take more than an archangel to disentangle them."

You are in my mind everyday my baby!

GOLDEN MEMORIES

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else could fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.

Over the Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
