Arrival Story:
We rescued her our first year in our new house. We had Xander for 2 years at that point. The breeder my parents bought their dachshund from had a returned dog from an older couple that could no longer care for it. We went and visited and she and I instantly bonded. Came to find out she is the sister of my parents dog! She's definitely a daddy's girl!
