Yearly check up......

Went to see Dr. Allen today. All the ladies in the office were very nice and Dr. Allen was too but I didn't like when he gave me a shot...and it was more than just a shot....it was like, 3. He did some other stuff too but I don't want to talk about that.

After the check up we surprised Daddy at work and brought him lunch. He was so happy to see us. It made the Doctor visit and all those shots and probing worth it!!!

I weighed 20lbs.....we are working on that. Momma says we take after her.

Hope all my Dogster friends and their families had a beautiful Christmas and New Years Holiday. Here's to 2009....may all my pals be healthy and safe!

Ummmm, thanks but can it be returned?

What makes Daddy think he can buy clothes for me? The thought & all is nice but he does not have good taste.....at all! I guess I will have to put my paws down & tell him ~ no more clothes! I hope I don't hurt his feelings.

Yep, that's right...

Last night Momma bought a Powerball Lottery Ticket. It was way past our meal time so I decided to take a bite out the ticket. Momma has a feeling that she will be presenting the ticket to the lottery officials telling them that her dog ate part of it.

I wonder if the Amos, Riley and I will still get our own rooms when Momma and Daddy win the lottery....

Amos is so forgetful!!!

He forgot to mention that we saw Miss Deidre and Miss Shannon from Canine Connection at the LA SPCA Dog Day Afternoon! We love them so much! I am glad that Mommy and Daddy like them too. (Every time we go to the shop we get good stuff!!!)

What beautiful creatures you are and how lucky we were to have your here on earth even if it was for a short time. You gave your own lives to save your family ~ you showed what dogs can offer a family and what every family dreams of ~ unconditional love.

You have brought Mommy and Daddy so much joy into our lives the past two years. Our only regret is that we did not find you before then. I don't even want to think about what you life was like before. God brought us together - you have helped us though some every difficult times and we are so thankful that you are part of our family.

We love the way you smile when we saddle you and Amos up to talk a walk. We love the way you prance down the street like a true New Olreans Lady! Your beautiful brown eyes show us so much of your soul. You are our beautiful girl and nothing will ever change that. We will do everything that we can to make your life the best that it can be because that is what you have given us.

We are so lucky to have you in our life and so lucky that we are able to share your 3rd birthday with you. We love you very much and we are looking forward to the next year when we fill have even more fun and even more happiness!!!!

We had our annual St. Francis blessing today....

and as we walked into the park a beautiful rainbow was in the sky. Sister blessed us with the Holy Water and told Mommy and Daddy that we were beautiful.

We got to see a few of our old friends from the park. We sure do miss it. Daddy whisked me away after the blessing because of the fleas that are in the park. I have a very bad flea allergy and Daddy did not want me to start itching again. I am on 3 medications and it is starting to help. I wish that I could have stayed longer....oh the fun we would have had.

I KNEW IT!!!

It caught up with Mommy today! After the FABULOUS NOLA WALKING PACK finished their walk, (WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD!!!!!!) Mommy and Daddy dropped us at home and went to an art market, then to lunch with Miss Lisa, Mr. Paul and that cutie Sam. When Mommy got home she went right to bed and took a 3 1/2 hour nap. (Of course, so did Amos and I.) If she would have gone to bed when she was supposed to she could have enjoyed this beautiful day a little longer.

Well, there is always tomorrow!!!!

I need my beauty rest!!!

Tomorrow is our big day! The FABULOUS NOLA WALKING PACK is meeting tomorrow at City Park. It is almost midnight and Mommy, Daddy and Austin are still awake. I need my rest so that I look and feel my best tomorrow. I hope that they go to bed soon.....

That's right....

Mommy has been on Dogster all day. At first I did not mind because she was making our Dogster page pretty. She chose a pink sparkly background for me, jazzy musical notes for Amos and blue circles for Hen. Well, anyway, I caught Mommy checking out other dogs. She didn't even see me coming. I jumped on her lap, onto the desk and closed the page that she was looking at. I don't feel bad about it at all. In fact, I would do it all over again.

The good thing is that Mommy was able to make us some new friends and even found a local walking group.

Dogster rocks!!!! We love all our new friends but it is time for Mommy to give us her full attention. Chow!
