Birthday: March 1st 2004 Likes: tug a war and cuddling with mom Pet-Peeves: when brenna steals all the good toys Favorite Toy: i like whichever one brenna won't steal Favorite Food: squeeze cheese, or shredded cheese Favorite Walk: out in the sun, with lots of grass for me to run in Best Tricks: walking on her hind legs or propping herself up on her hind legs Arrival Story: Ginger was adopted with Brenna from a Dachshund rescue place in SC. They met at the foster home and bonded, so the foster mom, Jan, decided they shouldn't be split up. Ginger came to them after having wandered into a vet clinic (twice). The owners came looking for her the first time, but never came back the second time. Ginger is honestly the most lovable, gentle, snuggly, softest dachshund I've ever met. She is very playful with me and with her sister. She is actually the alpha dog out of the two, but lets Brenna get her way, unless Brenna really annoys her, then she'll tell her what's up. Ginger has never had a single accident in the house...wish I could say the same for Brenna. She's not the most obedient dog though, both the girls pretty much ignore my commands. But aren't all Doxies that way? Anyway, I adore Ginger, I love cuddling with her, and playing with her, she makes me smile.
