Duke is a people-dog...he loves to be with people all the time. He actually hates to be outside without someone with him. H eloves to lay around on our couch and just sleep during the day. He also loves to go outside and catch frisbees or balls.
Pet-Peeves:
Weed Whacker, other dogs, people he does not know or recognize, any UPS/FedEx person, maintenance people who come to the house for repairs.
Favorite Toy:
Stuffed animals that he can get his mouth on!
Favorite Food:
Pedigree Adult Small Chuncky Bites, whole loaves of bread(bad bad boy), cheez-it crakers, popcorn.
Favorite Walk:
He does not like to walk very often but when he does, he likes to go to where there is water!
Best Tricks:
Catching frisebees and balls in mid-air. He loves to run and jump in the air. He also LOVES laser pointer lights on the floor!
Arrival Story:
My husband and I were driving around checking out Central Texas and drove to Marble Falls to see what it was like. We stopped at a pet store to find a new leash for our other dog Snickers and low and behold, there he was with a young man outside giving the puppies away for free. We saw him and got him immediately and took him home. He has been with us ever since and he is Snickers' soulmate!
Bio:
Duke is our alarm system for our home. He is extremely aware at all times as to what is going on in or around our home. He is very overbearing if you are the person on the outside of our door and are knocking but he is the best family dog anyone could ask for. I have an almost 3 year old daughter who has always messed with him and he has never once growled, snapped at or bitten my daughter. He was her very first step-stool to get up on our couch and he loved every minute of it! He would go over and lay down next to the couch for her to step up on him to get up! He is very loving, sweet and personable when he wants to be!
