Doc's battle scars

Doc is such a smart boy. He tore a hole in his chest a couple days ago & when we noticed it my husband & I discussed the fact that it needed stitches. 20 minutes later I went out to start the truck & Doc was right there beside me waiting to get in, like he knew what we said. He never tries to get in the truck unless invited, & I never said a word to him about going. Usually he just stands there on the deck looking sad. We think he was injured on a stick buried in the snow as he runs everywhere he goes. I really think he understood us & knew he needed help.

Poor Doc

Doc was attacked by the neighbors dog on February 7, 2010.The other dog has taken a dislike to my dogs. This is the third time she has attacked, & this time she almost killed him. The neighbor will not get rid of her, she think's the dog is trying to play & gets too rough. I can't get her to realize the dog hate's mine. So we are reinforcing our fence to make sure our dogs don't get out, & she doesn't get in.
P.S. Doc is fine now a month later! =)
