Arrival Story:
Mac is very timid and has grown up in our local humane society. He arrived here with his brother, Ozzy in June 2004, just before their first birthday. He is enjoying having some room to stretch his long legs after being confined for many months in the shelter. Mac is very sweet and wants to be friends, but it's just too scary right now.
Update: March 05--Mac is coming out of his shell nicely. He's part of the sled team now and is much more confident. Still timid, but it's coming! He and Ozzy are now permanent pack members here.--no more foster dogs!
Bio:
Mac has never seen a fence he couldn't breach. He has a six foot vertical and can clear most fences from a standstill. He uses chainlink and gates as ladders. If he can't go over, he will go under. Fortunately, as long as his brother, Ozzy, stays inside the fence, Mac usually will too.
Mac was euthanized on February 26, 2011.
