My Farm Adventure

Oh boy was this an exciting weekend. Kindra's mom (who I call mom too cause she is the head of our pack) took me to a farm to see my brother Sunny. She was a little hesitant cause I like to bark a lot. She didn't want me upsetting the horses and the other people there. Well, I knew it was very important that I be good so I didn't make a peep on the car ride there or when I met the three dogs Kindra had met the day before. Mom showed me the chickens they had... I was very excited about them. Mom thinks I have some pointer in me cause my tail went straight up I picked up a paw and just stared at them. Yummm Chicken! BOL

Mom then walked me around the farm to take in all the new smells. There was so much to smell I don't think I got to everything. Then she introduced me to Sunny and his paddock mate. I sniffed them and they sniffed me and then I was ready to go smell some more stuff. Mom says I was very brave so she introduced me to some of the other horses. After introductions mom put me back in the car so she could work with Sunny. I got to take a quick nap and then she took me out again and put me on a long leash (i think she called it a lunge line) cause I can't be trusted off the leash. She then took me to the outdoor ring and we ran around there and i even jumped over some poles on the ground. That was lots of fun. Then we continued our earlier walk around the property. I even went and shared a cookie with one of the other horses that was inside. I got jealous every time mom gave it a cookie. I barked my protest and mom made me sit before I could get my cookie. I like this horse and tried to get in his stall with him, but mom didn't think that was a good ideas so she just let me stick my head in. After that we went home and I ran into the crate for a nap. Boy was that fun. I hope I get to go again soon.
