Arrival Story:
We were looking for a another dog as a playmate for Maddy, we went and saw a breeder who was having trouble coz the mother had an injury and couldn't look after the pups any longer. we had the pick of 3 boys and he had the cutest little nose we couldn't resist.
Bio:
Griffy had a ruff start, getting bitten the day after we got him. As a result he's been spoilt rotten.
He's like a shadow, following us around the house sitting at our feet, wanting a cuddle instead of playing. ppl often comment on his quiet nature.
He's very selective about who he likes and seems to prefer women over men although sometimes he'll supprise us. I'm not sure if this is due to his accident or just his nature, but he's such a cutelittle man.

I just found out I've gotten my photo in the 2008 dogue de bordeaux calendar :-) :-) :-)
I was so surprised I never thought I'd get in.
Mom sent the photo in early this year and we found out last week.
Money from the calendars goes to a dogue rescue fund, I'm so happy I'll be helping other dogues find a safe and loving home.
Cant wait to see myself in print.

I didn't think I'd do it but I passed my basic training course. I'm so happy with myself. I learnt to sit, drop, watch, go to my mat, stay, come and even had a go at a little agilaty. It was so much fun. There was supposed to be 5 dogs in my class but all but one other dropped out, but that was ok coz I really liked Sandy (golden retrever) who stayed on till the end.
I cant wait to see her again when we start the next round of training.

Well I've had a bit of a hard time lately. I woke up one morning a couple of weeks ago and I had this red lump on my eye. It didn't hurt but how could I go outside with such a thing on my pretty face.
Mom and Dad took me to a guy who I didn't like at all, he didn't even want to pat me, how rude. He said it'll cost $700 to fix, in the mean time use this cream.
Mom and Dad and alot of other ddb owners thought this was a bit pricy so Dad took me to see another man. I really liked this one, he was really nice. He said to keep trying the cream and if that doesn't work, he'll operate and it wont cost nearly that much, the other vet guy was totally ripping mom and dad off.
Well the cream didn't work so it was off for a day at the vet. They were all really nice there, I didn't even notice when they put me under and cut half my tear duct off but I did notice when I woke up I looked so much better.
It's been 2 weeks now and my cherry eye is well and truely fixed but it's off to the vet man again, for a check up (mom and dad worry about every little thing)
