My liver

I have something wrong with my liver. Dr. Holly Bordner said that my enzyme levels are through the sky, and that she has only seen them higher one other time. So I have to take a pill every morning as soon as Mom and I get up. And then I have to wait a WHOLE HOUR to have my breakfast. That's just wrong!

As for food, I have to eat a special diet of Hill's Prescription diet C/D. Good thing I like it! Grandma's dog stayed here last week, and I got into her food. It tasted GREAT, but gave me diahrea, which made Mom really, really nervous, because that's something Dr. Bordner told her to watch for.

I also take a heart pill at night for a heart murmer. It hasn't gotten any worse in years, so the pill is working, Dr. Bordner says!

I feel really good, and I still love to eat so Mom and Dr. Bordner are pretty happy with how I am doing on this special diet and liver pill. So I'm happy, too! (Except for that having to wait an hour for breakfast.)
