Arrival Story:
I've always wanted a dog (after having 3 cats) and my brother rescues/rehouses dogs - and sometimes ends up keeping them (see picture of Sparky, Jake, Simba and Ziggy - all who were blessed to be found by my bro and nursed to health and given a home.) Anyway, I digress.......... so I saw an advert for a Pomeranian for sale, and on an impulse I went to view her and fell in love with her instantly- she was only 8 weeks old & just completely adorable! Ithought about it for a day and went back to get her - she had stolen my heart. However, I don't think she is a pure Pom because of her size - she weighs in at 10-11lbs (but she is not overweight) but she is still gorgeous nevertheless. I took her home and she doggie-cried all the way - and then promptly thoroughly messed herself up when we got her home so we had a er, great time cleaning up her very fluffy botty, and that was my mum's introduction to our new, poo-covered puppy!

Bio:
Lily has started going to 'doggie day care' over the last few months to get her more socialised and she absolutely loves it! When we tell her where she is going, she starts shaking with excitement - it's very cute to see! She gets to meet and play with other people and other dogs, and she goes for nice long walks too, so when I pick her up after work she is good and tired and takes herself off to her bed once we get home. We nearly lost her over Christmas as she had Pancreatitis and she had to stay at the vets for 4 days on a drip and it was touch and go for a while - but she is back to normal now (thank god for insurance!!) . Lily is on a low-fat diet as a result and she isn't happy about that at all - no more treats! We are looking to get another Pom soon, but hopefully it will be a smaller one this time! I really look forward to coming home as I know that Lily will go wild with excitement and do her little welcome dance bouncing on her back legs, front paws high up in the air (to the point of where she almost falls over backwards) and bouncing up and down on her back legs (I think this is a Pom trait?? Just too cute) And she just has to lick your face very, very, very thoroughly before calming down........
