Arrival Story:
We had owned a mixed pitbull Nelly before we got Pokey. When Nelly was 15 months old he just got really mean and aggressive and b/c I have a 7 yr. old son I had no choice but to give him to the SPCA! I was so upset that I couldn't go home without a dog! So my husband took me to the petstore and that is where I fell in love with Pokey Marie! She is truly the dog I have always wanted. She will always be my most dearest friend in this world!

Bio:
I am a Cancer. I love to take walks and I especially like to run an awful lot! If I'm not doing laps in the yard my mommy lets me do laps in the house! And when that is all said and done I love to cuddle up under the blankets with my mommy and Alex!

My Pokey Marie!

Aww there is so much to say about this little girl! She is sweet, loving, mischevious, and playful. She is just the best dog in the world. She is mommy's baby. She loves to be carried evrywhere and loves to lay under the blankets with you for hours at a time!
Pokey loves to be center of attention at all times . You can not walk by her without giving her your attention. She just loves for everyone to love on her. Pokey is an extremely affectionate doggy!
I just love this little one so much for the love and loyalty that she has given me for the last year and 5 months!
