on Mom and Dad's head at 5 a.m. and up and down the aisles at Petco, anywhere that I have a captive audience to adore me

Looking cute, being a kamikazi food snatcher when no one is looking, digging sheet tunnels with my nose and doing somersaults
Arrival Story:
Found beaten, battered on the streets of Austin, Texas - the local shelter took me in. It was suspected that I had been used as "bait" to train fighting dogs and left for dead. Luckily, my Mom happened to find me in the non-adoptive section of the shelter. She sat down on the concrete outside of my cage and waited very patiently for me to sniff her. It took about a half hour or so but I eventually butt-scooted my way to the front of my cage and licked her hand. It was love at first lick. Due to be euthanized that week - she told them that she wanted to be my Mom and came to see me everyday at the shelter, brought me dog cookies and made sure I got all the extra care I needed until I was healthy enough to go home with her. I was pretty timid at first but after years of being spoiled rotten you'd never know it. I am the happiest mutt on the planet (not to mention a bit of a princess ;))
