Napping in the sun for hours on end...but we're sure he's just saving up his energy for hiking high up in the hills. Once we're out in the Cascades, Miso loves to scramble on enormous boulders. Swimming in glacier fed lakes on sunny days is quite fun 2
Pet-Peeves:
The rain. Um, let's see...the rain! Seattle is currently experiencing a drought, so Miso is thrilled with our local meteorologists right now.
Favorite Toy:
Jason and Robin brought him a fluffy pink and blue lobster to help with his recovery from the "mt. goat incident". As with all of Miso's toys, it's been un-stuffed, but the lobster shell is still his favorite toy! That and the aligator puppet.
Favorite Food:
Miso loves to pick blueberries in the late summer, but these berries aren't making it home for jam! Miso eats them right away...
Favorite Walk:
In the city, Miso likes to walk on the neighborhood streets where he'll be sure to run into some kitty friends. If we're out in the mountains, any hike with fields of snow for doggy glissading will do just fine!
Arrival Story:
Miso has spent most of his life in Seattle, but his story begins in Colorado. I was living in a lovely rental home, complete with enormous fenced back yard, and only working part time. The timing was right to find my Miso. I'd been in contact with the local humane society and a couple of rescue agencies when I heard about some new arrivals...a litter of pups had been found by a real estate agent in one of her properties. Some 5 weeks old pups had been abandoned in the house and left to fend for themselves without their mother. I can't believe there are people who do these things, but all the pups were rescued and found homes through the agency...and so Miso came home with me and I've been lucky to have found him ever since.
