My husband had been saying for years that he wanted a dog. My family had two dachshunds that had recently had Sophie. Candler had said for a while that he didn't want a dachshund, but when he saw Sophie and started playing with her, he named her, and took her home with us.
Bio:
She is quite tolerant of her sister Sage. She is very nervous around strangers, but once you stay at our house for a night, she is your best friend. It takes two gates with a total height of 5 feet to keep her in the kitchen. She is happiest sleeping in our bed with us.
