Arrival Story:
Robbie came from a pet store. I was very well acquainted with this particular store and the manager, so I knew they did not use puppy mills. There were 2 little shelties and I fell in love with the tri color. I was going to be out of town for the christmas holidays, so the manager of the store kept him and took him home with her until I got back.

Bio:
Robbie was a pretty good dog. He was not sure about small kids, but he was seldom around him. the quick moes and squeals bothered him. he also did not like planes. I never was quite sure how that came about. most dogs never look up at the sky, but he always noticed when there was a plane. Robbie was my first dog on my own. My family had a couple of collies when I was growing up, but being solely responsible was different. He was a smart boy. I remember when he was about 3 months old, it was morning. I went to the door to let him out after having been in all night. Well, I did not know until then that we had a blizzard overnight. He looked at me as if to say...Are you crazy...do you expect me to go out there. Robbie lived to 12 years of age. He became very crippled with arthritis. I took him for a final walk the night before. We went about half a block and then I had to carry him home. His time had come to cross the bridge.
