Arrival Story:
She's actually my brother's dog. His first dog Philla (which means "friend" in Greek) crossed the Bridge about 6 months before we got Penelope. He wanted a dalmation, but all the dalmations we could find were older puppies, and he really wanted a baby. We drove down to one of the shelters, and they'd just put out a litter of 10. We wanted a female, and we noticed that she had black spots on her socks on both of her front paws. My brother fell in love with her, and now we laugh and say that because of her spots on her paws, she's "part dalmation".

Bio:
She's definatly the happiest dog I've ever known. She's constantly wanting to play, even though now in her old age, her body can't keep up with her enthusiasm anymore. She's starting to get arthritis in her front legs, and limps occasionally, but she doesn't seem to notice. *My brother lives in Boston & cannot have pets in his apartment so she lives in San Diego with our parents .*
