Dog Days of Summer

Well, a few weeks ago the evil roommate & his owner left our house to move to Flordia. YAY! I wasn't even sad cause my little brother Jefferson, came to visit and stayed for 10 whole days! I haven't seen him since Christmas last year. We had so much fun! Anyway, so after he left I was sad and kinda lonely. However, a few days ago, I got a NEW roommate. His name is Ooge, weird name, but he seems cool. He's an 8 (almost 9) year old yellow lab. He says he's from Minnesota, where ever that is. So far we've had fun. I hope he doesn't turn out like the old roommate. Well, I better go, Mommy says it's almost time to go to work.

Warm Summer Days

It's me again, Charlie Paper. I haven't written an entry in a LONG time. Mommy and I went swimming at the lake yesterday! It was so much fun! The water was a little cold, but since it was like 100 degrees outside, it didn't seem so cold. We played with a cool stick, and I even made a new friend. We didn't get to play long, cause his Daddy & him were on a walk, and he wasn't supposed to come down to the water & say hi. Oh well, one can't have too many friends. I better go, we're going to go for a walk soon. Bye!!

New Roomate

Today Mommy told me that we're having a new canine roommate moving in! She said it's her friend's dog, Gavin. I think I remember him, cause we've played a few times. He's a pit bull/shepherd mix. I'm excited that there will be another dog living here with me. I'm used to having my girlfriend, Nai'a here, but Mommy says once the school year starts, she won't be able to be here as much. I'll miss her tons, but I know I get to see her all of the time. I can't wait to have another friend! You can never have to many friends...

A Day At The Barn

I got to go to the horse barn with Mom today! Man was it fun! I had Mom upload some of the pictures of me and my good friend Teddy. We had such a good time! We ran around in what Mom called a "round pen" for a half an hour! Then Mom tied us both up, and took care of Teddy's grooming while I supervised. I love playing with Teddy, he's the biggest dog I've ever seen!!! I've been going a lot with Mom lately, so I can't wait to go play with my friend again!

New Friend!!

Yesterday Mom brought home a new friend! At first all I wanted to do was push her around with my nose, but now I realized she doesn't like that. Let me tell you about my friend...her name is Rudy & she's a 4 year old orange kitty cat. Mom rescued her from the Humane Society just like she'd rescued me! Its nice to not be the only animal in the house anymore. Don't worry though, Mom still gives me just as much attention as she gives Rudy. I can't wait for my girlfriend, Nai'a to meet Rudy!

Today's My Birthday!

Today is my 2nd birthday, and by far the best one I've had. I don't really remember my first birthday because I was a stray, so I didn't even know it was my birthday. Today Mommy bought me presents and guess what they were, TOYS!! I got a new chew bone, and Kong snaps for my Kong! YUMMY!! Also Mommy made me a special birthday dinner, and I got mail! I've never got mail from the mailman before. I always thought he was just fun to chase! I never knew he brought presents! My sisters and new baby brother sent me a birthday card all the way from California. (Mom and I moved out to Colorado so she could go to school.) Mom had to read me my card because I can't read. I got a birthday bath too, which wasn't too bad, because I don't really mind baths. It's been a good birthday and I'm glad Mom rescued me back in May!
