Spenser was rescued from a puppy mill
Bio:
This adorable little guy looks just like a mini-golden retriever. At only about 11 months of age and under 20 lbs, he's the perfect size mixed breed dog for a family - not too big, not too small. Spencer gets along great with other dogs in his foster home and doesn't even give the kitties a second glance. Sweet and gentle, he's a little bit shy and will need his new family to go slow with him for awhile until he feels at home. He tends to bond very heavily to women and will follow his foster mom around, wanting to be with her.
Happy to snuggle on a lap or lie on the couch, Spencer will content himself in a dog bed if his foster mom is nearby. Since he's not a hyper boy, we think he'd be great with any age family, however being a velcro dog, he would do best having someone at home most of the time rather than being left alone all day long. His new family will need to continue socialization with him as he came into rescue from a less than 'nice' place. Spencer has been neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested. His house manners are coming along nicely and he will potty outside or use puppy pads.
