Dear Rustie,

Though you have crossed the Bridge you have not been forgotten. Your Mom and I miss you and wish you were still here with us but are glad you are not hurting ang more. We know that we will see you again one day in the future.

Things have changed a bit around here since last year when I wrote to you. Many comings and a few goings. First, little Nadia arrved here in February. Kiska and Kodi came next in March and May. All are from kill shelters like you. Kane came next. Lexie left us unexpectedly and joined you, Aileron, Abby, Tasha, and AJ in early May when we found the tumor. We know that y'all welcomed here in with Husky (and Cocker) kisses when she arrived. Kodi went to his new home back in July where he is doing great. Georgia, Bo (Turbo), Taz and Blue came to us in September, October and December from kill shelters as well. I think you would have liked them all other than Taz .... she is 13 and a bit on the evil side like you got at that age .... but like you, she is a sweet girl when she wants to be.

As I said we miss you though we also suspect your spirit pops in on occasion to keep the others on their toes.
